JUSTICE FOR AFRICA: SOCIAL MEDIA ACTION KIT

On 20th October 2023, to mark Africa Human Rights Day, youth activists, the student movement, and survivors of injustice are rising again to demand Justice for Africa: Don't Cut Our Future.
Keeping up pressure on decision-makers to act after their first united global mobilisation on February 20th 2023, youth- and student-led organisations are refusing to accept that the right to education is still denied to almost 100 million children and young people in Africa.
You can get involved by organising or joining activities on October 20th in your country and by amplifying the campaign and our demands on your social media. We've provided these tools to support your solidarity - please share widely and let governments know the must act now, or risk cutting the futures of a generation of African children and young people.

We are creating a series of videos that help explain the injustices the campaign aims to expose and end, as well as demonstrating the diversity and vibrancy of the Justice for Africa movement. We will be releasing different videos each week in the build up to the October 20th global mobilisation, so keep checking back and sharing regularly on your own social media platforms to keep up momentum!

Youth activists have designed a wearable symbol for everyone to show their solidarity with the Justice for Africa campaign.
The Justice for Africa solidarity wristband can be made with almost any materials and worn on your wrist, head or even as a sash, you can see examples above from youth and student activists in Ghana, South Sudan, USA, Cameroon, UK and Liberia. We’ve created a simple guide to make your own and encourage you to share your creation on social media using #JusticeForAfrica to stand in solidarity with the campaign!
