Students in Hyderabad, Odisha, and Karimnagar join the campaign!
In February, 100 Million campaign co-founder Kailash Satyarthi visited schools and colleges in Hyderabad, Odisha, and Karimnagar and met thousands of students willing to stand up for the rights of young people everywhere. This is a huge boost for the campaign, which seeks to mobilise over 100 million children and young people to become activists worldwide.
Over one thousand students at Sambalpur University, Odisha pledged to join the campaign and become changemakers for children suffering violence and injustices.
In Hyderabad, more than 3000 students took the 100 Million pledge at Sri Indu College.
Finally, over 50,000 students, young people, teachers, politicians, and citizens in Karimnagar have made history after pledging to make Telangana a child-friendly state. They will work to end child labour, slavery, trafficking, sexual abuse and child marriages.
